The club's executive committee has, in line with ensuring all eligible members receive proper and timely notification in line with the requirements of the Official Guide, set the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 20:00/8pm.The AGM will take place in the St Mark’s GAA Club Hall at the aforementioned time.
In addition, members will be provided with the agenda, copies of sub-committee reports and the list of nominations in advance of the meeting in line with the timeline set out in the Official Guide.
In normal circumstances the cut-off date for eligibility to participate in the club's AGM is March 31, per the Official Guide. However this has been extended by Central Council and any reference to March 31 within the club constitution should be replaced with May 31 for this year only.
In summary any type of member is eligible to attend the AGM, while a full member that has paid their membership subscription in full prior to May 31, 2021, is entitled to 1) seek nomination to run for election to the club's executive committee; and 2) vote at the AGM.
As normal, a member must be present at the AGM if they are seeking to run for election and cannot be elected in absentia.

Please find attached a blank nomination form and a template that may be used for the submission of any motions. Nomination forms and the motion template can also be found in the club bar. If you wish to nominate someone for a position on the executive committee, we would ask that you do so with their prior consent. As per the Official Guide, nomination papers and any motions should be returned to the club within 21 days of the AGM. That is to say that they should be received by the club no later than Wednesday, October 27, 2021. They can be posted to the club, dropped off at the club bar or emailed to secretary.stmarks.dublin@gaa.ie.
